Refund Policy

At Equity Edge, we are committed to providing professional and transparent property management services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may or may not be issued for fees or payments collected.
Application Fees
All application fees submitted for tenant screening are non-refundable. This includes fees paid for credit checks, background screening, and administrative processing, regardless of application outcome.
Security Deposits
Security deposits are not considered refundable until lease termination. At the end of a lease, deposits may be returned in full or in part, depending on:

The condition of the property upon move-out

Deductions for damages beyond normal wear and tear

Outstanding rent or charges

Compliance with lease notice terms
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within [Insert State Law Requirement, e.g., 30 days] of move-out and sent to the forwarding address provided.
Rent Payments
Rent payments are non-refundable. If a tenant overpays, the excess may be applied to future rent or returned upon request at the company’s discretion. Equity Edge does not refund rent due to early termination unless outlined in the lease agreement.
Maintenance Fees (If Applicable)
Any direct payments for optional maintenance services (e.g., lock changes, key replacements) are non-refundable once the service is scheduled or completed.
Owner & Client Services
For property owners using Equity Edge’s management services, any retainers, marketing fees, or service charges are outlined in your service agreement. Refunds for these services are subject to contract terms and may not be issued once work has begun or resources have been committed.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel a scheduled service or appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Depending on the nature of the service, a cancellation fee may apply.
Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days and returned via the original payment method unless otherwise arranged.
